FAQ... By Tiffany
Hey guys! I get asked a lot of questions here and I thought I'd answer some of the most asked here in a blog! Enjoy!
Can you get a message to _____? (Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, Chip Coffey, Ryan Buell, John Zaffis, etc.)
I'm sorry, but the answer is no. I'm SO fortunate to have relationships with so many celebrities in the paranormal field, but I'm not their assistants. They all have various ways to contact each of them and really, that's the best route to go. They get to choose how to spend their free time and I don't want to bother them with professional requests. I hope those of you that have asked me to pass something along understand.
Do you recommend any books on psychic development??
OF COURSE! There are SO many, but here are a couple that I pass along...
Ancient Teachings for Beginners by Doug DeLong. I don't know about you guys, but I love practical teaching. And this book HAS IT! It focuses on several topics and gives you some really great exercises to work on.
The Gift by Echo Bodine. Ech really put herself out there, in this book, to explain what being a psychic is and what it is NOT. I give her a lot of credit. I think that this book gives you a great idea of what to expect and what your parameters should be.
How did you know you were psychic?
Honestly, I didn't know any different. I just had a natural predisposition to psychism. There wasn't a shining moment where I had an "awakening" so to speak. To hit on another question: Is anyone else in your family psychic? My mom is VERY intuitive. She's had some amazing expereiences in her own right, but I don't know if she'd call herself psychic. Other than that, I don't recall hearing of anyone else.
Are you doing any more episodes of Psychic Kids? OR Will you be on TV again any time soon??
The God's honest truth is I HOPE SO! :) Nothing is for sure. I haven't been asked to do any more episodes of PK but would RUN back if given the chance. It's a great project and the team behind it is amazing. There are two other shows that I'm a part of that are "in the works". So, cross your fingers. Hollywood is a fickle thing. If it happens, great! If it doesn't that's cool too! I have a great job and love every moment of what I do no matter WHAT it is!
How do I schedule a reading with you?
The best thing to do is to go to my website (www.readingsbytiffany.com) and have a gander at my services. Then, there is a form you can fill out to schedule something. I don't mind scheduling them here thru MS, but would prefer that you have visited my website and reviewed my policies, etc. Pricing is there too!

Update! TAPS Con, follow up on Mentone/NAPS event and MORE!
Well, holy crap... I'm back home again for a few days (actually, I'm leaving for a little vaca soon) and then off to TAPS Con.
The NAPS/Mentone Inn event was a smashing success. People, you have GOT to see this place to believe it. I think I picked up paranormal energies in 95% of the rooms. Not to mention how BEAUTIFUL a place Mentone, AL is. Deborah Collard (from NAPS) was the host of the event and I'm SO SO thankful to have been asked and CAN'T WAIT to get back! A little scoop: We're already working getting me down there for another event for early next year, so watch for more info!
Next on the agenda is TAPS Con. I can't wait. I CAN wait for the humidity in FL in late July, but so totally stoked to get down there and see everyone. Brent (the coordinator) is doing an amazing job and working to get the schedule straight. I'll be speaking on Psychic Development on Sunday at 10:00. I know I've mentioned it a couple times, but if you're attending the event and WANT AN APPOINTMENT, book NOW! I won't be taking appts. while I'm down there. I'll be providing 15 and 30 minute readings ($40 and $75 respectively) as well as doing past life regressions (approx. 1 hour appt. for $100). I'm doing everything ahead of schedule as there is so much to do! There is an amazing line up of speakers. Should be a blast. I know that they are expecting about 3000 people. Just nuts. Other than that... Psychic Kids is an amazing success. I know the first two episodes (I haven't heard on the 3rd) got about 1.7 million viewers. It's just so humbling to be a part of a project that does so much good. Many of you have asked, so, I'll mention it here again, but no, I'm not in any more episodes this season. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be renewed, so cross your fingers and toes. I'd love to be asked back.
My next event is with the Beyond Reality crew at Mt. Washington. I'm already booked up for that event. So - I'm happy to put you on a waiting list if you'd like a session. Just shoot me a message. I'm so excited to be a part of this! I know that there are other events that are being conceptualized and will be announced when something solid gets planned.
Personally, I'm trying to stay positive. In a time where our economy is in the toilet, I make certain to give thanks for those around me that love and support all I do. From all of you here on MS to my family and clients. I think it's really important right now to "pay it forward". If we don't believe that we are in crisis, the Universe will respond to our thoughts and create a shift. Don't take anything for granted.

A&E Interview clip for PSYCHIC KIDS!
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! I'm SO proud to announce that A&E has put up my little interview/clip thingie on the website for Psychic Kids; Children of the Paranormal! Click here.
I'm so proud! Even though I hate my hair! For those of you that DON'T know (I think Chip and I are going to be the marketers of the year for all the interviews, message and blogs about the show), PK premiers on A&E Monday, June 16th @ 9:00 PM. But check your local listings.
AND other SO SO TOTALLY exciting news... My brother from another mother... Affectionately refered to as "Doodle" ... MR. CHIP COFFEY will be on the LARRY KING SHOW THIS THURSDAY, JUNE 12th! Don't miss it kids! The rumor is that he will be on a panel with John Edward & Char Margolis. Should be very good. Check it out! I'm proud as proud could be for him. For those of you that don't know Chip, he's the most gracious, sincere, kind person walkin'! I love him dearly and I let VERY few into that circle.
Other news... other news... I recently brought on a new assistant Amber. She's awesome. She'll be handling my scheduling stuffs so I can do more readings and such. I love her. Not only is she my asst., but she's my personal glam squad. Yes, she's the reason behind the extension! LOVE HER! She's in my top friends to say hello and get to know her. Amber found me when I just "went pro" (that sounds bad) and began my practice full time. So, not only is she a friend, stylist BUT ALSO a client. So - she's great with answering questions about my readings.
Ok - that's it for now. I'm getting ready for a little vaca then running back home to go to the PREMIER in NYC of Psychic Kids! DON'T FORGET TO WATCH! (Am I getting thru to you people??? ) |

Things that piss me off...

Let's just get this off my chest......
* Driving with your blinker on. OMG! Figure it out! The next million dollar idea will be the guy/girl that is able to make something to convey to drivers that they have driven the last THIRTY miles signaling left! UGH!
* Gay bashing. I can't stand it. WHY people? Here's the thing... If you have issues with anyone being gay, you have WAY WAY too much time on your hands.
*Punctuation. I cannot stand (and I think I blogged on this before) that people think that punctuation and capitalization aren't necessary. It is by our use of opposable thumbs AND correct punctuation that we are genetically superior to animals. Not necessarily intellectually superior... There's a BRILLIANT squirrel that lives in my neighborhood.
* The idea of competition. There's no such thing. Period. Do the best YOU can for YOU! That's it! If you're viewing someone as a benchmark for what you can accomplish, then you have totally limited yourself.
* Juliette Lewis. I don't know why. I'm sure she's a very nice person... But she's just too much for me.

Hey guys! Here is the official word from A&E! Wooohoooo! As many of you know, my dear, darling, generous friend, Chip Coffey, is a lead in this series spin off of Paranormal State. He was kind enough to recommend me for the 3rd episode. I'm VERY excited!
"Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal" - On the heels of the extremely successful inaugural season of the A&E "Paranormal State," A&E announces a companion real life series "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal." Your child comes to you and says, "I see dead people." What do you do with that information? There are parents who are scared and isolated with problems that they often keep quiet - issues dealing about their children's paranormal abilities. Now, thanks to Medium Chip Coffey and renowned psychologist and Columbia University professor, Dr. Lisa Miller, help is on the way. From "seeing dead people" to frightening abilities to predict the future, Chip and Lisa will uncover the truths and help the terrified and gifted come to terms with their abilities. "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal" is produced by Four Seasons Productions Intl. Betsy Schechter and George Plamondon are the executive producers. A&E executive producers are Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant.
At this time, the show is slated to begin airing on Monday, June 16 at 10 PM EDT.

My "TO DO" List for YOU!

I'm back home from another totally WONDERFUL Darkness Radio event out in Philly. Had a great time. I'm told be Dave that we have about 70% new people attending this event which is just AWESOME! I don't think that the paranormal trend is going anywhere anytime soon....
Kris Hawes attended this event (Jason's wife) and just made it extra special for me. I just adore her. If you can have a blast in CVS (thanks to Britt & Chef as well), that says a lot for the personality!
So now to your homework.... Yes, I said it, your homework. I need help folks. Actually, myself AND others need some assistance and what the heck else is My Space for than this....
If anyone is interested in joining a group in the Chicago area - give me a holler. I met a great couple at the Philly event who are really looking to put something together. You can message me here or email me at tiffany@readingsbytiffany.com.
NEXT: If you know of a group in Michigan OR the Indianapolis areas... Holler at me. I have two wonderful people looking for groups in those regions. Again, you can contact me here or email. Either works.
For me... If anyone knows of a paranormal event/conference... Can you send the info to me? I'm gathering a list (I'll tell ya what I'm doing with it later) and trying to get the information wherever I can.
Lastly... Check out Spookycat's art. She's in my top friends. I'm hearing rumors that she may have her art gallery (in her pics here on MS) set to private, but just friends request her. She's amazing. One of her pieces went for over $600 at the ESP charity auction. WHAT a great person and SO totally talented. I have a few of her things that she's done for me in my pics, so you can check that out too....
So, there's some stuff to do when you have an extra minute. ;)
Next up: The Mid Atlantic Para. Conference in Gettysburg! I can't WAIT to get there. This is my first time going to Gettysburg. I know... Can you believe that I've never been there???!?!!?! Tragic! But that will all be rectified shortly. I'll be doing readings, speaking AND past life regressions... I'm going to be a busy chic.
Many of you have asked when my episode of Psychic Kids will be on... The rumor is June 30th. Now, I haven't had that confirmed, so I haven't sent out anything nor posted. I'm working on talking to the production company and my dear friend Doodle (Chip Coffey) to see if that is, in fact, true. If it is I'll post and announce it ALL OVER creation. Trust me. I'll have a shirt made. Swear.

YEA! I will FOR REAL be on with "the boys" tomorrow night on Beyond Reality Radio... I was scheduled for last week, but Jay hurt his neck (poor baby) and we moved the show to tomorrow! So listen in! Thanks to all that shot me messages yesterday after hearing I was a little bummed out. Unfortunately I had some calls on a terrestrial radio show I did and needless to say, they weren't positive. It's hard to argue when someone calls you a fraud/fake/BS and they have NO clue about what you do or who you are. But, turning lemons (and trust me - that is NOT what I was calling them in my head yesterday) into lemonaide... I'm thanking them (and thanking God) for allowing me to grow stronger and giving me thicker skin.
I do what I do with faith... A LOT of faith. And hopefully a little humor too. I'm really good with what I do and understand the the profession as a whole doesn't have the greatest reputation. However, if you get to know me, or if you DO know me, I'm pretty genuine. Professionally and personally. What you see is what you get.
So - moving on. As said by Heather on Rock of Love (OK - how geeky is that reference???): "Don't be a hater - be a congradulatior!" |

Phasing out of in person readings... And other silly stuff.

WHATUP?? First - in case you haven't checked it out - I put up a new video blog today. So, completely, off topic silly stuff, but we do get to some mini-readings. So all is not a loss!
I want to let you guys know that I'm going to be only doing phone readings come April 1st. Not a biggie for you guys out of state, but for those of you near by, it's just time. My travel schedule is becomming more and more hectic and honestly, I can do more via phone. Especially if I'm off shooting somewhere or doing a private event. It just makes sense.
Now of COURSE I'll continue to do LIVE, in person readings at all public events I'm associated with. So, there will be that connection there. No worries.
Hopefully I'm not terribly disappointing anyone. It's not my intent. It really is about being more efficicient with my time. Swear.

Darkness Radio Palmer Event Highlights
January 21, 2008
 Unforunately, I couldn't sleep the night before I left for the event. It's pretty common, so I started off the trip a little tired...
 Met Ms. Evie near the Mall of America! So GOOD to see her! It's been 2 months! TOO LONG!
 Got to the Palmer House safe and sound, but MAN, was it cold. Why do they even use the word "high" when it's 4 below?????
 Had a great night on Thursday, thanks to Stephanie's awesome coordination, celebrating Diane's birthday! Happy Birthday Di! Not so much sleep that night... Perhaps is was the... ahem... illness in the next room. You know who you are.
 Friday I woke up with a sore throat. BUT I was thrilled to do a few readings... One in particular that was exceptionally special for a wonderful person that we call "Doc". What a good soul.
 Friday evening was registration followed by a panel discussion. Man, I have GOT to learn NOT to do 6 cups of tea prior to doing one of those. Had to run out near the end.
 Saturday was more readings, followed by dinner with a great group of us at a local steak place. Later in the evening, I tried to break my nose. Ask more later after I heal. After dinner was another investigation where Dave asked me to be a part of a Frank's Box trial. Very cool.
 Sunday was time to go home. Did a few more readings in the morning, then after an extensive (thanks again to Evie, Craig, Ash, Jay, etc.) photo session, I was able to come home to my wonderful family. I walked in the door with our fav Chinese food. Bribes work for us.
Overall just an awesome event. Dave does it again. Great location. Great group. Crappy weather, but heck, that keeps us all together to bond, right?? I was just, as always, so honored to be a part of it. AND SO AWESOME to have my dear, dear friend Tai, from Lady Rocks Healing a part of it. A BIG thank you to Craig for running out and starting my car on occasion so I wasn't stranded. |

A little disturbed...

Know what term I heard yesterday for the first time in a long time... "flaming queer". And yes, it was made in reference too someone that I know. I'm freakin disgusted.
What year are we in? I can't believe that in this day and age, in a time in place when we should all be about honor and integrity that this should even come into being. Would someone as likely use the "N" word? I don't think so. So why, OH WHY, would that be okay or seen as less of a term?
I'm sick to my stomache about this and I can't seem to let it go.
The gay community (LGBT) has been amazingly supportive of me and my work. I'm so fortunate to have those in my life that live and announce their pride in who and what they are. They make me a better person. And often, they make those around them better as well. Yet, these comments continue to eek out into society. It's horrible. Awful.
I'm sitting here in tears knowing that some of my family and closest dearest friends have to put up with this shit. I just can't believe it. All the progress that we have made in our "so called" culture and this offensive rehtoric still exists. |

Well, holy crap it's been a busy week. First I get my wisdom teeth out on Thursday THEN Beyond Reality Radio last night. The first... Not so great. The show: AWESOME!
First and foremost I have to thank Jay & Grant SO MUCH for having me on. It was quite an opportunity to participate. I have received amazing feedback for a slew of you and thank you all for it. If I don't get back to you immediately, it's just because I got inundated with a lot of messages and emails.
Many of the callers (in case you didn't hear the show) called about those that have crossed over. Mainly family members. I really did the best we could just trying to get thru to as many of you calling in as I could. It's a little tough to do a mediumship reading in 30 seconds. But, again, blessing Jay and Grant's hearts, they tried to give me as much time as needed just to have something to come thru.
We had the opportunity at the top of the hour to discuss how my psychic abilities came to be, and yes, for those of you that shot me a message about it, it's the God's honest truth. I would wake up in the middle of the night from all the chatter happening around my bed. It was never scary. Frankly, ask my husband... They should have been more worried about waking me up because I can be PRETTY cantankerous when you mess with my sleep.
Again, thanks to all that called in, sent messages of support, emailed kind words and shot off texts. It's all appreciated. SO much.... |

Where the heck do I start... So, I got into CA. The first day was pretty low key. Lots of plane time... Early to bed. Enough said.
So, the second day in (Dec. 2nd), a group of us went into Hollywood to do the tourist thing. Which is ALWAYS a blast no matter how many times you've done it. There's always something new (read: look at the freaks) to see in LA. After an AMAZING lunch at 25 Degrees in the Roosevelt Hotel (which is freakin' awesome) we started our journey to the QM. As the group heads toward Long Beach we see this darling little dog running around the freeway. Now, those of you that know LA and the traffic know this was a death sentence. Breaks were squeeling, people were swerving. It was a mess. After stopping traffic, we gathered up with darling little pit bull (that I named Dolly, later to be changed in spelling to Dali) and put her in the car. After frantically calling several shelters, we were having little luck trying to find her a home.
However, Chip Coffey (part of our group), in his INFINATE grace/wisdom/psychic nature started talking to the staff at the Queen Mary and found out one gal WAS LOOKING TO ADOPT a dog! Divine order? I'd say... Bottom line, this sweet, gentle, wonderful little dog now has a new home AND a new mommy to take care of her.
Monday brought another honor... In addition to the THIRTY TWO readings that I booked, I was (again - thanks to Chip) given the opportunity to meet Ms. Erin Gray. For those of you not familiar, you may remember her from the TV shows Buck Rogers or Silver Spoons. Chip had asked if she would like to attend the event as part of the charity auction and just to meet several of us and get a feel for the event. As she is now representing Chip, she thought she'd stop by! So - I had the wonderful experience of meeting and chatting with her. After spending some time with her (and doing a little reading for her) she ASKED IF I'D LIKE HER REPRESENTATION!!!!! Can you believe it?? So, I've been taken on by Heroes For Hire (Erin's booking agency)! I can't even believe it! SUCH an amazing opportunity! Thanks Chip!
Tuesday (in the afterglow of Monday) was a great day of readings. Which (I feel I can mention since she commented on my profile) ended with a reading for the lovely and fabutastic Ms. Chris Hawes (Jason's wife). Needless to say with all the activities, after a full day, I was bushed. Beat. Tired. Damn near exhausted.
Wednesday was home again, home again... And thank God. I couldn't wait to get back home to my hubby, my bed and my beautiful animal children.
This week is back to readings here on the home front. THEN I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out on Thursday. SO - say prayers. Chant. Whatever that that all goes well. I'm totally nervous and already losing sleep over it. Freakin needles. Can't stand 'em.
OH! Totally forgot to mention the Lou Frig-No! thing... In our crazy travel daze we were making up new "terms" for Grant to use on GH. Instead of the "Hell No!", I thought up saying Lou Frig-No! (Did I mention I was a little punchy?) Now, you all know that Grant is the best non-curser out there. So - we thought we'd help. Later that evening, in a discussion of who's hot and who's not, we also came up with "SPC"... Spontaineous Pants Combustion. More on that later, boys and girls. |

Hey guys! Just put up another video blog. (On My Space at www.myspace.com/psychictiff OR www.youtube.com/psychictiff. ) I look like poop, but did it on the fly thanks to Spookycat's (a dear friend and client) prompting! Gotta keep this kid in line!! SO THANKS!
THEN I must say that I went to the IMAX show Sea Monsters yesterday with the hubby. Holy crap. GO SEE IT! It was AWESOME! LOVED it. It's about 40 minutes, but was crazy good. I'm going to need to have everything be in 3D now. Everything.
