“I have suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome and thoracic outlet syndrome diagnosed since 2008, it was treated but later on in 2018 I ended with endless of disabilities not being able to walk and stiffness in upper and lower back. Am generally an active person, who travels a lot for work and even dancing, yet i could not walk for few days, after treatment to relieve symptoms eg.stiffness, inflammation, swelling and reduce disabilities, i was diagnosed with multiple disc degeneration with a clear bent seen in 2 points of my spine (neck and lower back). Through a friend, came across this chiropractor Dr Jim Osterwise. After standing on a scanner that looks like a balance, my report showing my bent shape and imbalance. Dr Jim explained to me how the chiropractor is to help keep my spine straight to prevent the bent spine from further damaging the nerves. If spine is bent, it will cause degradation of the spine and cause impingement of the nerves. Physiotherapy is only meant to relieve the symptoms and not solving the root cause. As a scientist working for the government, general hospital diagnosed my problem and told me i was doing the right and necessary thing by visiting physiotherapist and chiropractor. Dr Jim is very skilled and confident, he made my neck and spine more functional removing the disabilities which affected me. After first visit change could be felt! After a few visit, i felt normal again but maintenance is necessary once the spine is already degenerated and chipped off, meaning it can get bent again anytime.
