Rachel M The sound track was so bad it felt disrespectful to tragedies being discussed. It was painful to watch at times because of the music. Just wow. If they would just re-release this season with different music, Id probably give it five stars. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Audience Member I love true crime shows - but this is the first time i notice how important the soundtrack is to them. The show for some reason use ALLOT OF CHEAP SONGS that creates a sleazy atmosphere. This comes as a huge contrast to the seriousness of the families talking about their dead loved ones and the really good footage and interviews. Its a bizzare and cringe choice that kills this tv show. Very hard to watch Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/26/24 Full Review Noreen C It’s not bad but a little drawn out. But the worst is the MUSIC. This is about a murder not a high school love affair. I would watch it more except for the music. I just can’t. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Arb T It has potential, but storytelling is far from being good. The choice of music is so bad, literally makes you cringe. It looks like low budget Forensic Files, without that bad music. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/09/23 Full Review Sheila S The music was cheesy and unnecessary. Made the whole thing seem cheesy. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/12/23 Full Review Timothy L The narrator brings this series way down. It's very difficult to watch when she can't seem to take her job seriously. And it's not just the inappropriate reading of the script, but also the horrible script itself. If you can get past that, the stories themselves are actually not bad. But why would you watch this? True Crime shows are a dime a dozen. Just watch a different one. There are hundreds of better True Crime shows on YouTube alone!!! Now that I finished episode two, that's what I plan on doing.
