The Pathfinder is the winningest tire in gravel, with victories at the biggest gravel…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
Ian Boswell
“It’s the fastest rolling gravel tire out there, with superior traction on a wide range of surfaces. Most importantly, it’s incredibly hard to puncture. I rode the Pathfinder in every race this season: on the flint stones of Unbound 200 to the mud and class 4 of the Vermont Overland.”
Ali Tetrick
“When traveling for long excursions, I now just bring one bike and one set of wheels—my Diverge and the Pathfinders on a set of Roval Terra CLX, and we are rocking and rolling. I can average high speeds with very low rolling resistance on any terrain.”
Laurens ten Dam
“I can say that I raced literally every gravel race I did on Pathfinder 42mm tires. From Gravellocos to Unbound to Migration race and even SBTGRVL. I raced the Pathfinder 42’s. For me, they are a no-compromise tire.”

DC to Indiana Dunes with ease
I've owned the 38 and 42mm standard Pathfinders and found them to be a great all around tire, especially for a novice. Upgraded to the S-Works version on my Zipp 303 Firecrests at the beginning of the season. It's a solid commute tire but definitely met all expectations on my 850 mile bike ride home from Washington, DC to the Indiana Dunes. It says 35psi on the low end but I rode the first half of the trip on trails with 25psi and it felt like the air ride of a Lincoln town car. A little pricey but worth it IMO.

Great tires
Easy way to shave off some grams at the outermost edge of spin. Weight was only 5g off spec.Is similar to Pro level, but with less tread depth. I’d see this tire doing 70/30 road/gravel for novice riders. Hooks up well enough on small stoned gravel trails, and rolls really good on paved.Very nice compliance, and easy to install on a 25mm I.D. wheelset. No issues.

Necessary upgrade
My only regret is not putting these on my Diverge STR sooner.

Sworks pathfinder
Excellent tire but altogether different from the Pro’s. Dramatically reduced high speed cornering off-road and notably less durable - but significantly lighter, faster rolling and more supple. Choose your weapon!

Installed these after trying out
Installed these after trying out gravel. My first gravel and tubeless setup with these. I can now run lower pressure around 25-30psi. These look sick on the bike (if you get the tan wall ones). Got the chance to finish season riding on these on very mixed gravel terrain and no issues, really great protection.

Mixed feelings
Still early days. Mounted easily enough to Zipp 303's but got a puncture on first ride, on fairly innocuous gravel. Will see how they go forward.

Ridden during summer so far. Fantastic tyre. Superb all-rounder. Fine for 90% of gravel, including steep climbs. But also good enough to keep up with the roadies!

Best gravel race tire
Probably the best gravel racing tire on the market. Lightweight, but with a puncture belt and rolls fast on gravel and pavement.

Loved these tires all across the country!
Recently completed a solo, unsupported 4800 mile bike-packing adventure across the US. When both my gravel tires exploded simultaneously just outside of Fargo, ND, I had the fortune of finding these tires in in a bike shop in town and had them set up tubeless. I loved and appreciated these tires every single day thereafter. They roll fast and are super comfortable for long days in the saddle. Good tires make a monstrous difference on a big adventure. And these tires are great!

Cushy Ride
Lighter and rolls a bit nicer than the Pro’s on the Creo SL. Ride mostly road with an occasional off-road venture. What little it loses from rolling resistance on the road from smooth road tires, it gains in much improved ride quality and versatility.

Well worth the upgrade price
I'm a 70-year-old recreational rider who was looking to improve the comfort and handling of my Vado SL5 on rural country roads with broken pavement and gravel. These tires deliver these improvements in spades and significantly improve the overall riding experience. Well worth the upgrade price.

These tires are super light and fast! They perform perfectly on the gravel roads I ride, which are typically hard packed with marbles and a bit of loose sand.

Confidence Inspiring, Fast, Supple and Durable.
The S-works Pathfinder is a superb tire. My tires weigh 435 grams each. They inflate to 45mm on Enve G23 rims. I have 600 miles on them and they show little wear. They have a more rounded profile but deform very well on the gravel and this profile makes the tire handle like a much narrower tire. I ride in Steamboat Springs on class 1, 2&3 roads at 32F/34R PSI. The SW Pathfinder provides ample traction on loose, steep (14%+) sections and provides a stable, yet damped ride over washboard. On Chip N seal, its incredibly fast, within 1 mph of my road bike. Contrary to some reviews and bike forums, although the side lugs are shorter than the Pro, I have not found the lower profile lugs to slip or be a compromise in any way. This tire is fast, supple, damp and secure which adds up to confidence inspiring and increased performance. There is no one "perfect" tire for all riders but the S-Works Pathfinder is that perfect tire for me.

Great, but note the aesthetic change
I see little reason to not pay $5 more for these vs. the Pros–they're 8-9oz lighter per set, a touch faster on pavement, and similar on dirt. However, note the sidewall color on these is a reddish dark brown, not the same tan of the Pros. For my matte red Diverge, it didn't quite mesh. I gave them to a friend who put them on his black bike, and they look excellent.

Great Race Tire
Rode about 200 miles on these so far. If you're considering these against the Pathfinder Pros, these accelerate significantly faster than the Pros. Once at speed, they also are able to go slightly faster on tarmac. On gravel, these grip so much better than the Pros, especially when transitioning from the slick center tread to the knobby side tread, which sometimes felt scary and unpredictable on the Pros. This tire is predictable, fast, and fun on all surfaces EXCEPT mud, the chunkiest of gravel, and sand.I'm going to assume that these will wear FASTER than the Pros, considering the change in compound and smaller tread depth. Puncture protection is probably just as good as the Pros which were basically bulletproof. If you want a fast, predictable, tan-wall race tire in ONE SIZE these will definitely be worth your money. If you want an everyday, longer lasting tire that is still freaking fast, less predictable, and coming in various sizes, the Pros might just be for you.
